Formulae!
Does anybody know the formulas for the magical arts?
It'd be a lot of help to me if I knew the negative formulae as well. Thanks! |

Another forumla question:
What is the Merchant forumla? (I'm bumping the thread because I'd make a thread with a nearly identical title anyway, and because the thread is currently short.) |

Possibly those are the values you'd get for a 4K value item, but with merchent you get more for a 8K value item than a 4K (assuming this is at an NPC store).
Also, I know that the values are not multiples of 100, and I'm fairly sure that it is impossible to get 50% of the item's value. |

can you train like 30 merchent and get it so you make a prfit selling and buying the same item over and over? [/quote:f9815] I'm fairly sure that is impossible. |

ok, so... if you managed to get enough money to train merchant to 25... you would have infinite money, therefore making money have no value, which makes the only way for the economy to grow or whatever is by trading, but they dont allow trades in wyvern... What happens next?

Pfft, Tiny and giant items are useless. Smart people buy the normal size, grow or shrink then enchant or repair. Personally, the shrink/grow capability should be removed. I say, force giants and pixies to spend extra...wait, I never understood why tiny items were more. Shouldn't they be less. Those races in "theory" make less money because they carry less items... [/quote:055ba] Yeah, our nice little robes should be less costly, they take less materials to make, they only fit us and a few other tiny beings... and all that. |

Oh right. Ok. But I wasn't trying to argue... but anyways.

My theory is, for giant sized items it takes twice the amount of materials to create. [/quote:e09fa] If a giant is twice as large as a human, and the material increases width as well, then that is eight times. If the material is the same width, then about two times. |
