Default 2 questions about items

Do 1 time grab items (like quest items or mq items) get damaged?
Does blacksmith short your items overall hp?

I make this questions cos I’m giving second thoughts about playing again. But I don’t know what changes has been done to the game. To be honest, and this is only a suggestion I don’t know if it currently apply, but it used to be that way, I think blacksmith shouldn’t short your armors/weapons hp. I know the game is not aimed to allow you to have items for ever, but I do think that if you are careful and take care of your items, then they shouldn’t get worst along the time… (Just my opinion).

Quest items are not destroyable.
Mini quest items are destroyable

I have no idea what you mean by the rest of it.

He's referring to the fact that repairing items reduces their maximum hp. He suggests that this should be removed, so that if you take care of your items, i.e. repairing them often, you can keep them longer.

Break a piece off a figurine. Glue it back on. Then play with it and see how much easier it is for it to break again - Keeping something in good shape to begin with and fixing something that is already badly damaged are two very different things.

Now can everyone please join me in pretending Unknown doesn't exist so nobody ever has to be bothered to reply to his nonsense ideas again?
