Sassinak

I just finished re-reading a book called Sassinak, by Elizabeth Moon and Anne McCaffery (both of whom are astounding authors, McCaffery wrote the Dragonriders of Pern, which you should all check out if you ever get the chance).

Sassinak is a fun sci-fi pirate hunting book. Not a whole lot to say about it, I suppose, so I'll ask if anyone here has read anything by Moon or McCaffery, 'cause that will bring some nice discussion, I think.

I have read all three of the books in the Sassinak serries (under the compilation called "The Planet Pirates&quot I loved the first two books, but in hte third, the author kinda rambled and I found it difficult to follow.

(Anne McCaffery is one of my favorite authors.)

I haven't managed to find any but the first book. We have a great used book store somewhat close by, but I haven't been there recently . . . I should probably look there next time we're in town. I'd love to see what happens next, heh.

Have you ever read and David Weber? I really like his trillogy called "Mutineers Moon" "Armagedon Inheritance" "Heirs of Empire"


Also His War god's own Serries (fantasy) is quite good.

Hm . . . no, I don't believe I've read any of his work. I'll keep an eye out for him at the bookstore, though.

I really like his trillogy called "Mutineers Moon" "Armagedon Inheritance" "Heirs of Empire" (teh entire collection is published under the title "Empire from the Ashes".)
