Exclamation Rules

1. Do not spam. Spamming includes, but is not limited to, making off topic nonsense posts that add no value to the discussion, flooding the forum with threads/posts, and making unneccessary posts in general. An example of an unnecessary post is when one makes multiple posts in a row on the same thread. In such a situation it is best for you to edit your original post and add anything you have to it.

2. Do not use offensive language. There is a filter which will catch most of it, but even so people generally get what you meant and that is not acceptable. So, just avoid it altogether and if you see that the forum filtered a word after you made the post, it would be a very good idea for you to go back and edit it out before a moderator sees it. It is more work for us to edit your post for you so we may sometimes simply delete such a post entirely, causing any value you may have had in such a post to be lost.

3. Do not post links or pictures to or of questionable material.

4. Try to be mature. Don't resort to name calling or flaming when you disagree with others. Instead try to state your opinion in the best manner you are able. If you feel that is not good enough, talk to the other parties involved in private. This forum is not a chat room where you can trade barbs back and forth. It's meant to provide topics of interest to a wide range of people and they do not need to read your private disputes.

5. Note that all of Wyvern's game rules apply to this forum. Breaking them may result in being banished from this forum or if the offense is serious enough, actions may be taken against you in game. An example of where this may be the case is if you spread/seek out quest information or abusable bugs.

6. The forum prevents you from making a new post unless you have at least 10 characters in it. This is to prevent players from making brief nonsense posts where they treat the forum like a chatroom by replying with a smiley face, "lol" alone, "owned," a question mark alone, and so on. It is, however, possible to get around this by adding random garbage to your post or quoting a previous post. Whatever you do make sure you do not try to purposely skirt the system and if you're quoting something you need to be responsible enough to make sure that your post is long enough and adds real value to the thread. That's true of all posts you make - If you have to struggle to get 10 characters in your post, it is not necessary and don't think that having 10, 11, 12, etc is automatically necessary either. Always strive for adding meaty replies that have real value in them.

7. This is not a roleplaying forum. It is a forum for actual out of character discussions and as such it is important that people understand you. So, do not go around trying to play a character as it is just annoying to people in this environment and try to keep the aol speech to a minimum. Doing things such as replacing "two" with "2" and "are" with "r" may help you in a chatroom, but you have all the time in the world to write your post so take your time and be considerate to those who have a difficult time trying to understand what you mean.
