4 good text Muds, at least, two of the are good. Which I would say are Achaea and Lusternia, I never played the other ones since there wasn't quite anything that would do me justice. Probably some of the text Muds out there.

Star Wars Mud. Good if you like Star Wars.

Maybe I should play one of em... eh....

You seriously need to read the manual with any text based game. If you didn't, it probably wouldn't intrest you anyways.

Hehehehe... I love reading manuals too, its weird. Sometimes I feel dirty if I don't read the manual <!-- s:P --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_razz.gif" alt="Razz" title="Razz" /><!-- s:P -->

[quote=&quot;Morgus&quot;:7014a]I tried a text MUD a while ago. I could barely follow along. Too much text, not enough action. I honestly don't see how someone could have fun playing that. It's not even interactive with other people, but it would make sense since you're the one loser playing it.

I can see where your coming from.... but free graphical MUDs and MMORPGS are soo fricking rare![/quote:7014a] Ummm...... Theres more for free than subscription as far as I can tell... I mean, some require a subscription for full gameplay, but most of them are at least decent without that.. And Morgus, it really depends on which game you play. Some have paragraph descriptions for each tree in the game, and some sum up a forest in three lines. For some people One of the points of Text MUDs is that you can describe things better, and people can use their imagination from time to time.

Its kinda funny, while playing iSketch I accidentally came across this text based MUD called Aardwolf MUD. It looks kinda interesting and I might try it out, might not though, cant choose a class that would fit quite right. &gt;.&lt;.

I despise KoL

Yes. It deliberately embodies everything bad about a massive number of games.
