About posting
please take a look at "Resist Dispelling and Issues with spell Immunity" post, and look at the last wizards comments.
why dont make something that auto close (lock?) posts after an inactivity time? or delete those that havent been readed for X amount of time... that way we avoid wizards saying stuffs like :there was no reason to "Raise it from the dead"., or saying stuff that infer that you shoudent repply in old post i dont know anyone else... but that bug me off... if theres no reason to repply old post, then dont allow it. and if its allowed, and it dont goes aginst any rule, then dont tell players to dont.

maybe make it so after a certain amount of time, only wizards and the original forum author can revive the post. The wizards in case something drastic changes and they have a comment on it, the author if he wants to revive his old post with new information.

No. There are times when it's appropriate and there are times when it is not. For example, I rather you guys reuse an old post than make a new post about the same subject. Therefore, forcing people to be unable to use old threads after a certain length of time does not work. It's much better to take things on a case by case basis and hope people utilize common sense.
Btw, why does this annoy someone who quit? Go away...shoo. *throws pebbles at you* |
