Final Fantasy X question

I know I'm a bit late.

I'm playing FF X, and I have the impression it's hard.

Your characters don't level, right? You just got that sphere thing to make them more powerful right? O_o

Monsters seem to be owning me, and I just started.

I think I'm lost in the grid, and I may have made some mistakes :/

Does the movement points get harder to get with time?

Evrae... Is he the dragon/serpent type thing on the ship?

You know what I found hard? That wooden monster that has like 64k hp and the Haymaker attack. I didn't know how to beat him for like an hour... Then it hit me.. xD

FFX was a great game... But the ending was SOOOOOO anti-climatic.

On the Ronsos Mountain with Seymour I managed to win because Auron had a buttload of HP, like 6500, so I survived that stupidly strong attack, revived my team and then just overdrived everything xD

On Evrae I can't remember whether I summoned loads of Aeons, or if I used the zombie thing. I know you have to use the zombie/revive stuff on that fight underwater... Can't remember whether that's before or after, though.

Talk to everyone in the ship, including the pilot, to get headed towards Yuna. This next monster is one that many people have trouble with. You fight him up on the top deck and you have to alternate between going in close and staying far away. You want to stay close as much as you can, and go into this with full charges for everybody. You don't have Yuna (she's off about to marry Seymour) so you can't do your normal aeon blasting. Which is probably why this is hard!

Just stay in close and blast away with the various charged blasts, and have your people use HASTE as much as possible. When Evrae gets ready to do his mega-breathe, pull back. Then go in close again. Rikku and her Al Bhed potions is quite handy for healing.
