Rate my Mage and Paladin
Ready for some more of my ****** skillsets? If you aren't, then oh well, here they are:
Mage 25 halfling: 25 fire 25 water 5 lore 5 meditation (+10 from guild) 7 spirit 20 evocation (probably should be different to be more effective x.x) 10 merchant 3 spirit traveling This mage is obviously a fireball + blizzard one. 7 spirit for mana shield, 20 evocation to have extremely low mana costs. 10 merchant to make money for the training costs, and other merchant stuff 3 spirit traveling cause im almost definately going to die. Paladin 25 halfling 25 swords(+10 from guild) 8 strength ( +5 from guild +2 from girdle + 5 from potion) 20 find weakness 15 life ( +5 from guild) 5 lore 14 incantation 4 merchant 9 meditation I believe this paladin would work pretty well, spam healing with major heal. Plenty of life to support that, and 9 meditation seemed like enough to me, but im not sure about it. It really is amazing how little strength is needed to max it for a paladin. For my mage, I really agree with kathy, because I wanted a solid mage, no meleeing.

KoD, having that much life was sorta the point. Though I agree it may be overboard, it would be fun to have a major heal that heals all or almost all my hp. <!-- s --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Very Happy" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s -->
Keeping the life, maybe something like this? 25 swords 20 find weakness 10 strength ( potion and guild) 14 incantation 5 lore 2 merchant 14 meditation 10 life (+5 from guild) |

Personally, The fastest way to kill things as a mage is with a storm Giant mage. Halflings are pretty good though.

Also, it depends on what spells you use.
You can actually cast 13 spells at once kathy. <!-- s --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Very Happy" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s --> 6 Blizzards + 6 Fireballs + 1(fiespray/dragonbreath/icestorm/firebolt/lightningbolt/thunderstorm/frostwave.) you get the idea. <!-- s --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Very Happy" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s -->

Well, lordz, since you seem to be opposed to our builds, mind giving us a "good" one in your eyes? I would be very interested in what improvements you can suggest.

I propose a stipulation.
A good build will have the following qualities. 1: Have some way to kill enemies 2: Have some way to heal 3: Be fun for the user to play Sooo.... everyone will have a different "good" build. Why? because everyone has a different style. I personally prefer massive life magc so I can heal efficiently. So instead of having massive hits, I have massive heals. I rarely die because of this. At the same time, it takes me a while to kill anything. (Narhalles actually has no inate healing abilities.... but he is the only one of all my alts like that.)

exactly.... but anyone of those can be cast at the same time as the balls. (as long as it is the last one.) hence the parenthesis and slash marks.

I usually do that on a giant char....
3 minor heals to heal my level 12 storm giant. <!-- s:P --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_razz.gif" alt="Razz" title="Razz" /><!-- s:P -->

It's actually not my first mage, but it is my first halfling mage, and my old, pixie mage wasn't that great, at level 16. I probably wont even make this mage until I make some other chars, because I still can't figure out Ruins of Samhoc T_T. Actually, I think ima make them in this order: ranger, monk, paladin, caveman, mage. By the time I get to mage, I should have a fair understanding of the game. <!-- s:twisted: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_twisted.gif" alt="Twisted Evil" title="Twisted Evil" /><!-- s:twisted: --> It's sorta funny though, 3 of those chars will be halflings... Maybe I should make one of them a different race...
