Two days ago, I found out that I had been nominated by my grade to be one of two male candidates for the position of Homecoming King. I've never been as shocked in my life; this is one of the few things that never even entered my mind as possible. Tonight, we go to find out who won.

I honestly don't expect I did, so I'm not getting my hopes up. I think that if I did win, I would have a heart-attack, so it's probably better this way, too.

I didn't win, but that's completely expected. Seniors pretty much always get the vote, and I am pleased to say that the Senior who won was the dude whom I voted for. It was a pretty fun time, though whoever planned it needs some practice with &quot;time management&quot; - they had us there at six-thirty for pictures, which were finished within ten minutes. We then had to wait twenty minutes for the girls' basketball game to end, and then another forty for the boys' basketball game to get to half-time . . . it would have been better to just stick us in between the games, but whatever, it was fun. I spent the night at a friend's house afterward, and we shot each other a lot with airsoft guns, so all in all, it was a success.

Speaking of shooting in the leg, heh . . . I wounded my buddy, firing the gigantic uber-rifle a couple feet too close. &gt;.&lt; It's just a bruise, but still.
