10 lore and 10 mind from the guild gives you a few spells for fun, such as berserk, enlightenment, fear, confusion, Identify, paralysis, and some useful spells like bless, and full heal.

25 unarmed, duh...

13 strength to achieve 20 str with +2 from girdle of strength and +5 from a strength potion.

20 find weakness to further improve damage

7 incantation to give more uses of full heal. ( I wish this could be 14, but I'm out of points)

I wanted to put some merchant in, but I forgot about meditation. Perhaps lower find weakness to 10, and put the rest into merchant and meditation, to your liking. I think 2 merchant and 8 meditation. How's that, Xae?

Hmm.. Well, If I went to the caveman guild, that gives -10 incantation, which makes full heal cost way too much. ( I dont know the formulas, so I cant specify) I think monks guild is better for raks though because it give 5 more unarmed and 10 dodge, but sadly, no hp boost. I do see your point, xae, perhaps I should go down to 5 lore, and use major healing instead, saving me 5 points. Maybe more like this...

In the Player's manual, it just says
&quot; In order for a Monk to receive guild XP for a kill, the Monk must be unarmed, and cannot have any spell readied except for Incantations of Mind.&quot;

So, if you just readied, lets say, fear, then you could just make the alias cast major heal without it being readied. Not sure if it works that way, but <!-- s --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Very Happy" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s -->

Ah, you do get -5 life magic, perhaps that was why I chose full heal, but rod healing works too. I guess we might have to make both and see how each of them fare. <!-- s --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt="Smile" title="Smile" /><!-- s -->

lions are most balanced of the four, having +5hp/+4sp and strength a little lesser than dwarves', and never getting scared. although me love leopards most <!-- s --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt="Wink" title="Wink" /><!-- s -->

me suggest for monk kitties to use mana shield spell to support their low hp. but this so costly and me am not a good manashield user <!-- s --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt="Wink" title="Wink" /><!-- s -->
