Certainly a okay start for a beginner, but doesn't look enough like anything to be appreciated by more advanced people.

And Pinkypop, don't worry about Photoshop- You might as well get The Gimp, there are a few downsides, like less tutorials, but a surprising amount are easily translateable, and theres always people who can do it for you! (<!-- m --><a href="http://www.gimptalk.com/forum/board.php">http://www.gimptalk.com/forum/board.php</a><!-- m --> - Where I mostly went for new techniques when I was making signatures alot, there are other ones but this one is pretty reliable.)

Edit: Oh yeah, another tip; You want to get brushes, those make it ALOT easier, and will let you produce better results in the beginning. There are brushless techniques, but they tend to be harder. Just look at some tutorials that have links to brushes and get those if you like the finished look, or want to try the technique. You can also look on DeviantArt or search on google for brushes.

Hey... Thanks Zeofar... Will check out that link you put in... I'm already a member on Deviant... Got a couple of things up there.... Photo manipulation mainly though.... Muchly appreciate your hints and tips... They will come in most usefull.... When I get some free time I might pop into PC World and see what programmes I can pick up.
