AND!(what do you think I'm a simpleton)
I want to keep on progressing in German and my Computer Science Skills. I have hopes of learning more languages, real and programming, speaking Portugese, being a Luiguist, and writing my own &quot;Utopia&quot; book. I'm going to be an exellent programmer, I believe in being diverse instead of specialized in the Computer Market. If you know my name you'll probably see me listed on the development team of all those clever tools and programs people can't live without, and maybe a game or two. I also like the theoretical side of computing and try to keep abreast of the news even if I have trouble understanding the math and proofs. I plan on atleast another 80 productive years in my life through a combination of determination and increasing medical technology. I see the possibility of more time on Earth, but most of it involves being a brain in a jar, exploiting my clones for their organs, and downloading my brain into a computer. Guess which two of those possibilities I'm against. But those are long term.

Right now I want to get back to America and enjoy some American life, this is going to be my first summer away from home and I'm quite excited. I've got lots of little projects I want to finish. My book list, my new TV stand that I'm going to make by hand, the various programming projects(with a possible wyvern client if wyvern ever comes back), and learn LISP to name a few.

My most pressing goals are to ask this girl I like out, and to eat some dang cheese that doesn't have mold in it.

Did I satisfy the Thread?

I'd love to be a world-famous guitarist. Or a music teacher.

Or a wrestler. xDDD

I think we'll go with the music <!-- s --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Very Happy" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s -->

purpose of life is to reproduce
[/quote:735df]

good answer...[/quote:735df]

Erm.... Reproduce?.... Isn't their enough children out there in foster homes that need parents.... why reproduce more when you could in fact give another child a permanent home?... Not getting at anyone... Just.... The world is too over populated as it is.... Thats just me though

We're born.... We live.... We die.... That's my meaning of life.... It's what i'm here for

I would say life does have many different goals, from the basic instincts, to the higher thoughts. We have so many goals because we are the king of the animals, we are at point where the basic instincts are not enough to keep us occupied, and everything we have is just an attempt to keep us from being bored while we wait for our next meal. There is no need for everything we have today, humans are creative enough that we could live anywhere in the world with the proper cothing and sharp sticks. We don't even need language, a few grunts and finger pointing can execute a plan better than talking. So my life is here for me to keep me occupied until my next meal.
