Re: Fav Game
Ah. Yet again, seemingly smart people with their seemingly good statistics.
20% is small enough that that could have easily been caused for reasons other than the stated. Also, what if it didn't help the action game players, but hurt the other game players? Then, yes, action games would be better than others, but they wouldn't help. Not every statistic is trustworthy, and often the deception is unintentional. |

Re: Fav Game
Yeah, Eruo pretty much summed that up. One of the other important k-style moves is "slashshot", quite hard to explain, but not that hard, really.
Jump, dash, slash(hold the button) switch to gun, gun will shoot. Basically, this lets you shoot your gun with the speed and evasion of dashing with a sword. |

Re: Fav Game
Oooh, what private server was it?
The multiple wall run is a bit difficult, and I have not mastered it yet. Basically, you dash at the wall from the angle you would start a normal wall run from. Then just press space twice, and when you jump off dash back to the wall and do it again. I hear it is best to practice it at the battle arena, but I prefer Mansion or Castle because those maps are more commonly chosen. *goes to play I-Gunz* If anyone wants to play with me there, my ign is yuffie124. I play Ijji Gunz, it's a much better version and ran better than international, and the people aren't as stuck up it seems. I love all Ijji games (Gunbound pro FTW) but ya i agree that high action shooters do increase both mental thought and hand-eye reaction. I think they increase mental power because a good shooter game makes you think of what you have to do to kill the person your against, a good shooter isn't just shooting and timing its always a mental game.
Gunz is okay, i love it personally but my mouse sucks, so i really try to steer away from PC shooters (Until i get a new one in about a month). As far as "high-paced games" check out the link in my sig. The game is based off of DDR. It's the same concept but with your fingers instead of feet. Seems easy but it is much harder because there are songs on there that go so fast a beginner player wouldn't even be able to sightread (see what's going on basically) for months. So ya, Ijji + FFR (FlashFlashRevolution) is all i've been doing on my computer since the servers been down...
