Here is the page that gets mentioned so often that Rhialto wrote. At the moment you can't get to it so Im posting it, in its entirety here for future reference. Be sure to read this.
This answers questions like "Shouldn't it be easier for you once you are a higher level".. No.
And where the "a goblin should be able to kill you at any level" comes from. (take notice it's from clawing your eyes out or somesuch)
And other things like this.
This is Rhialto's vision and what everything strives toward.
While there are adjustments as we see what works and what doesn't, and somethings have changed in general like vaults when Rhialto removed them, this is the goal.
