Most enemies that have death ray are pretty balanced out except for reapers. Reapers take a while to kill (at least as a mage) and can still kill their opponent in one hit of a spell that can hit more than once. Maybe if reapers resistances were lowered or their hp/ac was lowered a bit they would be a more fair opponent. I just feel like either the spell/chances of success for death ray needs to be looked into, or reapers do.

A mage is supposed to stand far away from enemies, at a large distance it's quite easy to dodge death ray.
