[lq] First Day of Summer Feast and LQ!

Are you all excited? Even the website updated! Saturday, June 21st, Don't miss out!

As to exactly what is going to happen, most of us have no idea... but awesomeness is guaranteed

So... anyone remember what happened 5 years ago? What exactly happened? Who was the Conqueror Worm of Nec-Bathat?
Myke, Logwad, we're looking at you.. details please!

All I know is what the worm looks like...from an old picture Toe once showed me:

(disregard the pick on toe day statue, that's a completely different event)

By the way, for updates and possibly more information on this epic event, the next best place to look besides the forums is probably Arilou's Wyvern Blog, take a look:

People died.

I died more.

And victory was ours.

All I can currently remember was that this might have been the lq that the wizards said if we didn't defeat it, the monster would wipe a city off the map. Either NV or Blackrose.

Course, I remember lots of cities being wiped from the map. :)

You are my hero

How about the feasting?

Why Minath, Salky?

Salkand 06-04-2008 11:45 PM

because I don't like Minath.

Salkand, hopefully the wizards would be kind enough to destroy your (and only your) house in stoneybrook after the lq, if you do not win it.

You know, it's been 5 years since the last summer feast and while I didn't want to make it a definite 5 year event, it has occurred to me that you sorry lot missed the possibility of an encore this June. There weren't set plans, but I had been thinking that now would be the perfect time for another event as I figured we'd be long past the balance/bug fix stage and hopefully the game would be on its way to a revival with the focus shifted to new content and the possibility that Rhialto would actually have fixed the server issues that was hindering growth. *scoffs*

Irregardless of which, I had the perfect set-up for the lq storyline. Hint - It involved time travel. :)

How can there be server issues when there's no server?

I think the lack of a server could count as a server issue.

That's not a server issue, but an absence of server issue.

I realize that the game has been down for awhile now but it hasn't been down so long that there wasn't a time when there was in fact a server with issues that I hoped could be worked out. Hence, I was reflecting on my thought process during that bygone era. Now quiet your insipid prattling and find me a score and a half of halflings to feast on lest you wish to find yourself tied up and stuffed in my larder for later consumption. *claps hands together*
